So-called educators are now feeding students in Los Angeles a steady diet of platitudes designed to foster anti-Arizona feelings. The Los Angeles Board of Education requested “civics and history classes discuss the recent laws with students in the context of the American values of unity, diversity and equal protection for all people.”
Notice how their press release says “discuss” the recent law with students. A one-sided attack on Arizona is hardly a discussion.
The alleged values they intend to “discuss” include “unity,” which is a bit vague and doesn’t explain how people are supposed to unite with other people who cannot even speak the language, and indeed, are told not to assimilate by prominent Hispanic groups.
Diversity is a modern liberal ‘value’ (and myth), and was never historically considered an American value.
“America must stand for tolerance, inclusiveness and equality,” said Board President Monica García, according to the release. “In our civics classes and in our hallways, we must give life to these values by teaching our students to value themselves; to respect others; and to demand fairness and justice for all who live within our borders. Any law which violates civil rights is un-American.”
You don’t have a “civil right” to be in this country illegally. They speak of “fairness” and “justice,” yet where is the fairness for those who follow the law, and wait years to enter the country legally? How is it ‘just’ to allow certain people to break the law and not be held accountable?
What is really un-American is an American school promoting ideas that attack the foundations of this country, such as Rule of Law - which interestingly enough was never mentioned as an American value, but I suppose that pesky thing can be discarded if it gets in the way of a pro-illegal/amnesty agenda.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
