While in China president Obama gave a speech in which he said, “I think that the more freely information flows, the stronger the society becomes, because then citizens of countries around the world can hold their own governments accountable.” Trying to contain one’s laughter, Obama also claimed, “I’m a big supporter of non-censorship.” Even Associated Press reporter Charles Hutzler wrote a fawning piece titled “Obama to China: Uncensored Society is Healthy.”

Moreover, the president expressed how unfettered access to information and unrestricted political participation are “universal rights.” Strange how Obama and his administration don’t seem to view the TEA Parties with such reverence. Liberal activists and SEIU goons on several occasions have attacked and intimidated people at TEA Party protests.

It’s hard to take Obama and the sycophants in the media seriously. Here you have an administration that is filled with far left radicals, from advisors Rahm Emmanuel and David Axelrod (and ex-advisor Anita Dunn) smearing Fox News, to The White House attacking the Drudge Report for spreading “disinformation.” Then we have Obama appointing his “diversity” czar Mark Lloyd at the FCC, who calls for stronger controls over radio programming, and supports new internet regulations. The new czar also said, “What we’re really saying is that the Fairness Doctrine’s not enough.” On top of that, Lloyd praises the Venezuelan dictator for clamping down on the media in his country. Hugo Chavez financially strangles groups that criticize his government, revokes licenses of stations, and imposes tough new regulations to bring the media under his control, and Mark Lloyd praises him.

But remember, Obama says he supports “non-censorship”.
