In light of yet another terrorist act (that thankfully failed), one has to wonder about the Obama administration’s approach concerning our national security. It doesn’t inspire confidence when even top military officials succumb to the falsity of multiculturalism and political correctness, as was seen in the aftermath of the Fort Hood slayings. Gen. George Casey said, “I believe it would be an even greater tragedy if our diversity becomes a casualty here.” Sacrificing our men and women in uniform on the alter of ‘diversity’ does not seem like a sensible policy on any level.
Add to that:
- An administration that replaced “Global War on Terror” to “Overseas Contingency Operation”
- A Homeland Security that does not use the word “terrorism,” but “man-caused disaster” instead
- A media afraid to even mention the word ‘Muslim’ when describing a terrorist, and immediately launch into some kind of moral equivalence to shift the focus
- Academics and a media that routinely apologize for Islam while simultaneously condemning Christianity
- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano claiming “the system worked”, then when confronted with facts completely reverses her position saying it was a huge blunder
- A Homeland Security that refuses to identify real enemies of America, and instead targets political enemies of President Obama
- An administration that tries a terrorist (not even eligible for protections under the Geneva Convention) in a civilian court, with all the perks and benefits of full-blown citizenship
- A President who describes the Nigerian terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab as an “isolated extremist”
For how long can a nation survive or keep its people safe under this kind of incredibly irresponsible leadership?
