The NAACP has officially come out against the Tea Party movement as being racist without offering a shred of evidence.
Tea Parties are only politically threatening to tax-wasting big-government types who want grievance-mongering groups like the NAACP to influence government. Tea Parties are a movement based on ideals, not on trying to get special privileges or entitlements.
Furthermore, the presence of black tea partiers must cause some problems for the NAACP’s allegations. Tea Party members join for reasons of principle, not race.
Michelle Malkin has it right in her latest article with the hilarious title “The National Association for the Advancement of Coddled People.”
On a related note, the Elusive Wapiti brings to us the serene wisdom of Samir Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party - probably a member of the NAACP.
