Turns out Al Gore is at it again with another proselytizing book on the “climate crisis.”  The cover of his latest piece apparently opens half and half, and when fully opened it shows a heavily doctored photo of the planet — hurricanes all over, virtually no polar ice cap, green areas changed to brownish, and coastal regions greatly diminished in size.

Consistent with liberal piety, the beginning of the book has a single page with this little gem written on it: “I’m offering you the choice of life or death. You can choose either blessings or curses.  - Deuteronomy Chapter 30, Verse 19″ Gore is now quoting scripture in promotion of environmental zealotry. Can there be any doubt that environmentalism is a religion to the political left. Even Newsweek’s science editor Sharon Begley had described Gore as an “Eco-Prophet.” An Eco-Profit is more like it.

It’s unfortunate that a man who peddles politicized science for his personal gain bamboozles so many people.

Humorously, Gore’s new book is released at the same time as the growing ClimateGate scandal. It seems that leaked e-mails from a British university suggested a conspiracy by some of the world’s leading global warming proponents — many with direct ties to the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change — to manipulate temperature data. Unsurprisingly, the collaborators at ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and NBC completely ignored the subject. Only Fox News was objective enough to report this huge story.

It would appear that the real inconvenient truth is the one the mainstream media and Al Gore don’t want you to know about.
